Padded out cringe fest! Felt more like a I’ll have a go staff party than a keynote! Don’t need 40 odd people explaining things with onscreen naff eyecandy to pad it all out.

think they spent more time introducing names of staff members than on actual product.
very disappointing…

All these features are just toys, and plenty of them to keep you hooked to the phone. I am 46 and I never needed any of that to have a life. Thanx God.

Really looking forward to some of the new features coming in iOS and Messages.

Those of you expecting hardware releases at WWDC haven’t been paying attention, it never happens.
I don't think you've been paying attention. Hardware has been announced at WWDC before, and will be again in the future. It's just never a guarantee that it will, given the nature of the event.

9 mins? I bet the little they announced could fit in 30 seconds. This is iOS 14s.

EDIT: In all seriousness, just watched the video. It is great, thanks for producing, MR.

It is a Developer focused meeting. That is why there were no consumer toys released. You were mislead by stupid leaks and hype on here.

I, like others, was underwhelmed by the event today and disappointed in the lack of new hardware.

However, as I pondered everything and tried to think positive thoughts, I began to realize how thankful I am for the existence of MacRumors.

At the risk of sounded like a major bootlicker, in all seriousness I honestly do appreciate the fact that MacRumors gives us all a place to converse and to yes---even to vent a bit when we are disappointed. Much better than having a lot more pent-up frustration in the world.

True that if MacRumors didn't exist, another entity would likely try to take its place. However, I doubt if they could do as good of a job. I appreciate having it as my home page in my browser and basically automatically be able to keep up with all things Apple (and then some) on a daily basis every time I pop open Safari.

Big thanks to Dan and the MR staff for what probably at times seems like a thankless job.

You truly are appreciated.
