Apple Releases iOS 15.1.1 With Call Improvements for iPhone 12 and 13 Models

Apple today released iOS 15.1.1, a minor update that comes almost a month after the launch of iOS 15.1.

iOS 15
The iOS 15.1.1 update can be downloaded for free and the software is available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the new software, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

According to Apple's release notes, iOS 15.1.1 improves call drop performance on iPhone 12 and 13 models, so users who have been experiencing dropped calls should see improvements after installing the update. It appears to only be available for devices in the ‌iPhone‌ 12 and iPhone 13 families, including Pro models, so users with other devices won't see the update.

Here’s a typical new iOS release which happens every year like clockwork:

Introduce 5 new questionable meh features and break 20 functions that previously used to work — then spend the remaining year with endless updates trying to fix everything they broke.

Is the update only for 12 and 13? Not seeing it on my 11. Usually they release it for all models with other fixes in there too.
The article specifically says 12, and 13 models. I would assume it's hardware specific to those models that has the issue. Probably the modem and other components used. I hope they fixed other things too.
