(View all)Armed security! I want to see some price plans first anyway!
I'm with you. The only way they are going to get any kind of crowd on Friday is if the monthly voice/data plan is in the $70 range for the starter 400min, free nights & weekends, unlimited data.
That said, Verizon did turn Apple down based on the terms they were asking for. I haven't seen anything so far that would be a deal breaker, which means that the last Steve Jobs "One more thing..." may just turn out to be an affordable plan rate. After all it's a 2.5g Cingular network. And that can't bring premium pricing over a 3g higher speed networks.
So if comes down to a reasonably priced monthly plan. If a $70-75 / month plan comes out, you will see ALL the complaints of the iPhone disappear.
