iOS 17 Drops Support for iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus
Apple this week announced that iOS 17 is compatible with the iPhone XS and newer, meaning that support has been dropped for the iPhone X, iPhone 8, and iPhone 8 Plus. The software update will be released to the public later this year, and is available now in beta for members of Apple's Developer Program to begin testing.
