My favourite show on Apple TV+ so far has been Mythic Quest: Raven's Banquet. The bonus "Quarantine" episode is actually one of my favourite episodes of any series for some time. If Elba cannot top that I will be surprised. In any case the quality of the programming on Apple TV+ is excellent, the money is definitely going onscreen, even if not every show is my cup of tea. Well, I like punk, you like country western, why would we imagine all shows would appeal to us equally, right?
Ok, so since we are off topic, I absolutely agree. I have always used the British style where if the punctuation (specifically periods and commas, other punctuation is treated rationally by all) is part of the quotation then it goes inside the mark but if it is not it goes outside. Being in Canada where the American style mostly dominates I am forever in conflict with editors of my writing. It is a hill I will die on. I agree, the American style makes little sense and is, in fact, counterintuitive (as you said) and confusing. Now I am imagining all of the likes we will both get for discussing punctuation in this thread...
