this may just a placebo and my mind is playing tricks on me, but it immediately feels like it's running cooler and less loud! im on a MBA rev. A
My CPU temp is 108ºF right now... don't think I've ever seen it that low. You may be right.The update weighs in at 623 KB and requires OS X 10.5.7
Maybe one day they'll release an update that makes them as fast, or faster, than than the old models :rolleyes:
So as much as I don't want to be that guy who installs an update and claims it fixes undocumented problems, my rev.A Air does seem to be running better.
My temp still runs really high, but while usually my laptop gets unusable if I watch flash video as the kernel_task steals all my CPU cycles right now it is multi-tasking nicely despite the flash video playing.
