iNdependence: iPhone 1.1.1 Activation, Jailbreak

Version 1.2.2 of iNdependence was released today, providing iPhone 1.1.1 support

ok, the long awaited version 1.2.2 is out. This version works with phone firmware 1.1.1, although the activation/jailbreak process is a bit more complicated now. The documentation has been moved from the README file into the Help menu within the application itself, so please read through that before asking questions. Enjoy...

iNdependence is a Cocoa-based application for Mac OS X.

After jailbreak with independence, can I install Apptapp normally on 1.1.1?

NO. AppTapp is a 3rd party app manager and installer, and it runs on the iPhone. iNdepedance is an activation and jailbreaking tool, and it runs on your Mac.

Apparently not.
"This does not work with iPod Touch or iPhone firmware 1.1.1 at this time."

By the way, Apptapp runs on both OS X and Windows.

I'd be waiting until 1.1.2 to see what happens to newly doctored 1.1.1 phones, personally.

So all you "hackers", please no whining when you lose radio functionality after an upgrade of the firmware.

I'm not saying don't do it. Just be aware of the problems.

I think you read the wrong page, or wrong paragraph. This is directly from the iNdependance page...

I think YOU didn't read my post correctly.

If you read carefully you will see I was answering someone's question regarding whether or not Apptapp would work with 1.1.1.

I started this thread, so I think we all know that this new version of iNdependence is for 1.1.1.
