A Newsweek article provides some confirmation on the previously reported rumor that iTunes for Windows will be coming in October.

According to the article, Apple "quietly informed some music insiders that itÂ’s moved up the date for expanding its current Mac-only iTunes for the vast universe of Windows-based PCs to mid-October."
