iMovie 3.0.2 Update?
iMovie 3 arrived alongside iDVD 3 and iPhoto 2 with the iLife package in late January.
Reviews for iMovie 3.0.1 have been mixed, with many users displeased with the performance.
Apple appears to be aware, and will be issuing an iMovie 3.0.2 update to address this issue.

The only things I have problems with are the Ken Burns effect (motion isn't very smooth) and some of the titles and credits (they don't show up right at all)
iMovie is a great app, especially for those with tons of digital photos. I don't have a dv movie cameral, so the ken burns effect does wonders for me.
Keep up the good work Apple, and keep on ironing out the bugs...

I don't have ilife yet, but I do have imove 3. It seems okay, but I wouldn't pay 50$ for it.

A lot of people over on the Apple forums have been complaining that the performance of iMovie 3 is terrible. Constantly spinning beachball cursors on dual processor machines and the like. I haven't tried it yet on my lowly iBook 800, but it sounds like it's definitely not an isolated case.

I sure hope speed comes in 3.0.2. i mean what the hell did they do to make it like that?

3.0.1 has been fine on my g3 imac. i hope that 3.0.2 is a patch of some kind, rather than another 80 meg download.

I have over 1100 songs in itunes, and imovie 3.0.1 is REALLY laggy, is this because of how many songs I have or my 733MHZ g4?
