Apple Vision Pro Launching in UK and Canada on July 12
Apple during its WWDC 2024 keynote announced that its Vision Pro spatial computing headset will launch in the United Kingdom and Canada on Friday, July 12. The headset will also launch on the same day in Australia, France, and Germany.
Apple said that customers in the above countries will be able to pre-order Vision Pro from Apple stores beginning Friday, June 28, at 5 a.m. Pacific Time.
Before then, Apple Vision Pro will launch in China, Japan, and Singapore on June 28. Pre-orders for China mainland, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore will begin this Thursday, June 13, at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.
Apple during WWDC also announced visionOS 2, the first major update to the Vision Pro's operating system.
visionOS 2 includes several new features and changes, including a redesigned Photos app with SharePlay support, the ability to turn existing 2D photos into spatial photos, a larger ultra-wide version of Mac Virtual Display that is equivalent to two 4K monitors side by side, plus support for a physical mouse.
