Apple Announces Vision Pro Pre-Order Date
Apple today announced that the Vision Pro will be available to pre-order in the U.S. starting Friday, January 19 at 5 a.m. Pacific Time / 8 a.m. Eastern Time. The headset will launch a few weeks later, on Friday, February 2.
Apple says the Vision Pro will be available at all of its U.S. stores, and through its online store, but the exact ordering process is still unclear.
The headset starts at $3,499 with 256GB of storage. Apple has not revealed if higher storage configurations will be available. The headset will ship with two types of head bands, a light seal, two light seal cushions, a cover for the front glass, a polishing cloth, a battery pack, a USB-C power adapter, and a USB-C charging cable.
For customers with vision correction needs, ZEISS optical inserts that attach magnetically to the Vision Pro will be available on Apple's online store for $99 to $149.
