The updated version of iTunes comes ahead of the Wednesday launch of the updated ‌iPad‌ and ‌iPad Pro‌ models. The ‌iPad‌ features an all-new design that does away with the Home button, bright chassis colors, an updated A-series chip, and a Touch ID power button, putting it nearly on par with the iPad Air.

The ‌iPad Pro‌ features an updated M2 chip, WiFi 6E, and a new Apple Pencil "hover" function that allows the display to detect the ‌Apple Pencil‌ when it is up to 12mm away.

iTunes for Windows can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store or from Apple's website.

I do miss iTunes on Mac as well, I use both Windows and MacOS and it is sometimes confusing to switch between the two.

Honestly Apple should have kept iTunes on the mac as a separate download.

The first version of iTunes for Windows I won't be installing since I finally swapped out my nearly decade-old Surface Pro 2 for an M1 MacBook Air 😔

it's a joke iTunes still exists. Why no Apple Music app for Windows? If Apple want to compete with Spotify they need to do it. I'm not using iTunes and paying the hiked prices!
The Apple Music for Windows beta is allegedly launching later this year, and releasing to the public spring 2023!

But, yeah, about time...

I've been using iPhones for years but I am fairly new to macOS, it's mildly shocking that some things aren't already default features e.g. Facetime handoff. The way macOS was presented to me by Apple enthusiasts was that it was gonna be the most seamless ecosystem experience ever. Not saying that the ecosystem isn't there, it's just that it is slightly overhyped and it can be quite underwhelming in features and reliability.
