Apple TV+ and Its 18 Emmy Nominations Take Over Apple's Homepage

Apple today updated its main apple.com homepage with a takeover promotion for Apple TV+ and its 18 Emmy nominations. Under the tagline "18 Emmy nominations, and we're just getting started," Apple highlights each of the nominations garnered by its shows.

The 72nd Primetime Emmy Awards, which honor excellence in television, will be held on September 20 and will be hosted by Jimmy Kimmel.

I was referring to Apple TV+ since that is the focus of the thread. And contrary to your belief, other people don’t have to think the same way as you do on this subject. A person can have many Apple products and not agree or like every single thing Apple does; like me with this topic.

I think Samsung offers great smartphones, SSDs, laptops etc. Is there something wrong with consumer electronics company not offering mediocre shows (ala Apple?)

Biggest issue I have is with the Apple TV+ app. I have a free year long subscription but haven't made it through an episode.

Ted Lasso might be their breakout hit for next year's Emmys. You cannot help but smile while watching it even if you hate sports like me. Also, Morning Show has a knack for being topical and has rewritten their 2nd season to tackle COVID related stories. Look for nominations for at least these two shows next year.
