Best Buy
Best Buy announced early Black Friday deals in late October this year, and sales have been in full swing since then. Similar to other retailers, Best Buy's early Black Friday event includes sitewide savings on Apple products, headphones, TVs, monitors, video games, and more.
Best Buy's early Black Friday sale began on Halloween, and new doorbusters will go online every Friday in November. On November 20, the retailer's Black Friday sale will officially begin and run through November 29. We've broken down the schedule below:

Walmart
Walmart has announced its Black Friday plans for 2025, and it includes three major events throughout the month of November and early December. For all of these events, Walmart+ members will get early access to each sale.
The first event will run from November 14 through November 16 and be hold both online and in Walmart retail stores. Walmart+ members get five hours early access online beginning November 13 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
The second event will run from November 25 through November 30 and be online only for the first two days. Once Black Friday hits on November 28, the sale will switch to include retail locations for the remainder of the duration. Walmart+ members get five hours early access beginning November 24 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
Finally, Walmart's Cyber Monday sale will be held December 1 and will only be available online. Walmart+ members get five hours early access beginning November 30 at 7 p.m. Eastern Time.
Target
Target this year is set to open up fresh deals every Sunday throughout the holiday season, starting on November 2. The retailer is also preparing to host an early Black Friday event on November 6 through November 8, but it hasn't detailed its Black Friday week plans yet.
In terms of early deals, Target has a few notable markdowns worth shopping in early November. You can get up to 40 percent off headphones, up to 30 percent off TVs, up to 40 percent off smart home devices, and more.

Anker recently kicked off a new early Black Friday sale with up to 25 percent off available for members. To become a member, all you have to do is enter your email and you'll gain access to the savings.

Samsung this week introduced a new sitewide holiday sale, offering early Black Friday discounts across a wide range of products. This includes deals on monitors, storage accessories, TVs, Galaxy smartphones, home appliances, and more.
Highlights from this event include quite a few models of The Frame TV on sale, including the new The Frame Pro models. You can get the 2025 65-inch The Frame TV for $1,399.99 ($400 off), as well as The Frame Pro for $2,499.99 ($700 off).
Other deals include savings on monitors like the 32-inch Smart Monitor M7 at $299.99 ($100 off), the 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9 Gaming Monitor at $1,099.99 ($700 off), and more. We're also tracking big markdowns on home appliances including refrigerators and washer/dryers, and a few Galaxy device discounts.

Past Black Friday Deals
For an idea of what kind of deals we can expect this year, it's worth taking a look at some of the best deals that we saw in 2024. During last year's sales, we saw all-time low prices on AirPods Pro 2, AirTag, iPad, various MacBooks, and more.
For the past few years, Apple has offered a four-day shopping event, kicking off on Black Friday and lasting through Cyber Monday. Apple's 2024 event offered Apple Store gift cards ranging from $50 to $200 with the purchase of select Apple and Beats products, but many third-party retailers offered better deals including straight discounts rather than bonus gift cards.
A couple of the more popular deals during recent Black Friday events have been AirPods and AirPods Pro. We see consistent deals on these accessories throughout the year, but the steepest discounts tend to arrive with the holidays. So, if you've been waiting to buy a pair as a gift, it'll be good to keep an eye out at major retailers like Amazon.
You can also expect some kind of bonus for buying an Apple Gift Card at various retailers. In 2024, Target offered $15 gift cards with the purchase of the $100 Apple Gift Card. Given that we no longer see straight discounts on these cards as we did with the old iTunes Gift Cards, these holiday sales are the perfect time to stock up on Apple Gift Cards, and they make great stocking stuffers.
Black Friday is also usually a good time to purchase an iPhone with multiple retailers and cellular carriers offering various incentives. In 2024, this included major discounts on the iPhone 16 from carriers like T-Mobile and AT&T, among other deals from regular retailers. You can expect to see similar -- and perhaps even steeper -- discounts on the iPhone 17 this year at multiple retailers.
Otherwise, reliable Black Friday deals every year include those on MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Beats headphones, Apple Watch, iPad, iOS and macOS apps, and movies and TV shows on iTunes.
Shopping Tips
Doorbusters
Many of the Apple items offered on Black Friday are what stores like to call "doorbusters" because they are products that are designed to get people into the store. These are often the store's best deals and tend to be very popular. While people have been known to line up for several hours to be first in line to take advantage of one of the better deals, in the past few years the term isn't necessarily meant just for in-store deals. You'll find plenty of great online doorbuster deals as well.
Check Deals Locally
Not all deals are offered at all retail locations, so it's a good idea to get in touch with your local retail outlet ahead of Black Friday to confirm deals and to potentially get an idea of what product stock might look like.
Sales Tax
National retailers like Apple and Best Buy charge local sales tax on all orders, so when making an online order, it is best to consider all sales tax options. Ordering from smaller online retailers can be a benefit, as not all stores charge sales tax in all states. Customers in states where retailers do not collect sales tax may, however, be required to pay a calculated or estimated "use tax" on out-of-state purchases as part of their income tax filings.
