I always have a laptop, so the iPad mini is the perfect size for me. I'm just waiting for the Pro version.
I know it will never happen, but a pro version with pencil 2 side charging and a mini magic keyboard would be my ideal potable device. Typing isn’t great with those 3rd party iPad mini keyboards, but do fine for brief emails and such. The mini is just so much nicer for holding and reading than the 11” and most certainly the 12.9”.

I lie awake nights worried they will kill the mini.
Me too. For those of us NOT in the enormous phone camp who use laptops most of the time, this is the ideal tablet size. It's perfect for reading, or travel, or just around the house use.

I'd be really bummed if they ever discontinued this form factor.
