Apple this week announced that its WWDC 2026 keynote — likely its next special event — begins on Monday, June 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. A live stream will be available on Apple.com, in the Apple TV app, and on Apple's official YouTube channel.

Apple had already revealed that its annual developers conference will run from Monday, June 8 through Friday, June 12, but it had yet to confirm the opening keynote's starting time until now. During the keynote, Apple is expected to announce iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, watchOS 27, tvOS 27, and visionOS 27. The updates should be available in developer beta immediately following the keynote and released in September.
Apple is also rumored to be working on an all-new "homeOS" operating system for a tabletop or wall-mounted smart home hub that is expected to launch later this year, but it is unclear if that platform will be unveiled at WWDC 2026 or later.
No major hardware announcements have been rumored for the WWDC 2026 keynote yet.
A big focus of WWDC 2026 will be Apple Intelligence, with Apple having promised to unveil "AI advancements" across its platforms. A set of upcoming accessibility features that are powered by Apple Intelligence have already been previewed.
The keynote will be followed by the Platforms State of the Union on June 8 at at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. This video, which will provide a deeper dive into new software features and APIs, will be available to stream across the Apple Developer app and website, on the Apple Developer channel on YouTube, and on the Chinese platform bilibili.
