In addition to the 64GB model, the 32GB 2021 Apple TV 4K is on sale for $99.99, down from $179.00. This is also an all-time low price, and both models are in stock and ready to ship from Amazon today.

For that 20 dollars I would just get the new one, unless you're gonna use ethernet.

IMO they should have done a bigger design change with the latest release of the Apple TV. Maybe space grey or some other physical changes. Just something to make it stand out from the previous years.

For $15 extra, get the new one. You get fanless A15 which will last you much longer.
I honestly never knew the previous ones had fans, never heard them.

I’d spend that extra $20 on A15.

Ethernet gets a little tricker. Save $40 and get A12, spend $40 and get A15.

That’s the only decision you have to make here. Because if you need HDR10+, the decision is already made.

Think I'd go for the new one as well, although I'd have to go for the more expensive one so I'd have a wired connection.

I honestly never knew the previous ones had fans, never heard them.
Same here - total Apple engineering, which I love, they're so good (most of the time).
