Widgets are also available on iPads running iPadOS 14 (and iOS 13), but their use is limited to the Today view on the left side of the ‌Home Screen‌. To see ‌Home Screen‌ ‌widgets‌ on your iPad, therefore, you need to keep the Today view enabled on the ‌Home Screen‌. Here's how.

  1. Swipe to the first page of apps on your ‌Home Screen‌, then swipe right from the leftmost side of the screen to reveal the Today view.

  2. Now, press and hold on the time at the top of the Today view or an empty area in the Today view column to enter jiggle mode.

  3. Toggle the switch next to Keep On Home Screen to the green ON position. (You can also do this via the Settings app, in Home Screen & Dock -> Keep Today View on Home Screen.)

Now you can customize the ‌widgets‌ that appear in the Today view in the same way that you would add them to the Home Screen on iPhone, including the ability to create widget stacks.
