That's what I am hoping too. If Apple puts out a base configuration of 16GB RAM and 512GB of storage I'd be elated. Not holding my breath though. They'll probably stick to 8/256. ?

Agree. 8GB is fine for normal consumer use case. A "Pro" should be higher in more than price.

Makes sense. I see little to no incentive in spending hundreds more for the Pro when the Air does basically the same thing, with the same limited I/O, and REAL function keys.
