Apple will hold a press preview for the new retail location in Yeouido, Seoul on February 24. The store itself is expected to open just a few days following the preview. Apple announced the store in November of last year but provided no further information on an opening, or preview. Apple's South Korean website has been teasing the store for a few months, saying it'll be a "space for everyone to blossom their ideas and creativity" (machine translation):

South Korea's second Apple Store is coming soon in the heart of vibrant, energetic Seoul. Apple Yeouido is designed as a space for everyone to blossom their ideas and creativity. We hope that you will be able to unleash your imagination in this place where you can explore all the possibilities, communicate freely with others, and receive the energy to create something that is not in the world.

The new store will mark the second Apple Store opening in South Korea, following the first store opening in January of 2018. Apple is expected to open more stores in the country with a third store being planned in Myeongdong, a popular tourist hotspot, and a fourth store in the city of Busan, according to Yonhap News Agency.

Apparently, support people (Genius Bar) were asking customers if they knew English when they brought in bricked mac books during the Big Sur update bug debacle.
Allegedly, the manager didn't speak Korean, hence the famous question. All the other PR nightmares aside, I still don't understand how Korea is still accepting anyone who's not fluent in the language while simultaneously serving a role that comes with responsibility. This isn't exactly the first time an international corporation embarrassed itself by not knowing how to speak Korean while operating in Korea.
edit: lots of typos.

Good to hear that Apple is finally opening up more stores in Korea. Apple's popularity in Korea is huge and the demand is high, yet there is only one store in the entire country.

Hopefully Apple catches up with the demand and accessibility for more people in Korea.

Could MacRumors not work with native speakers (instead of relying on machine translation) to get accurate quotes?
As a native Korean speaker (born there and lived until 18), I can confirm it's a quite accurate translation. But those Korean sentences from the Apple website itself are very tacky (including the font style). Something I would expect from Google translated websites or websites from the 2000s. It's almost like the Apple marketing dept wrote/design those in English and got those machine-translated.

Haha, Im anxiously waiting for an Apple event, but very much settled my faith on the June timeframe i.e the next wwdc: the next crop of AS Macs, everybody, or well, most people, have their mind on the new higher end MBPs, etc. But to me at least the current top of the line Mac Mini (Intel) will be replaced by an M1X, etc. And also waiting for the 3rd gen AirPods/2nd Gen AirPods Pro.
