Which problem are you experiencing?
A recent firmware update now prevents the TV from powering off when a CEC connected device turns off. For example, when I put my Apple TV to sleep, it will turn off my receiver but won't turn off my TV anymore.

It's a known issue that vizio has acknowledged on their support site but haven't fixed for month.

Apple was trying to boost sales of a device they never sold or released? How does that work?
They'll make it up in volume.

Don't hook up your TV to the internet...use an Apple TV for that.

I pity anyone who uses the built in software on Vizio TVs... it's BAD. Thankfully, I have an Apple TV 4K. Ironically I got it before I even had a 4K TV, somebody was selling an unopened one on Facebook Market Place and I was like... why not? Then I saw a 70 inch Vizio go on sale at BestBuy.ca for a grand CND. Which is a really good price for a 70 inch in Canada, turned out it was the 2017 mid range TV, which I knew would be getting HomeKit support soon!

So I bought it and I'm quite happy it combined with my Apple TV give me a very apple like experience, for a lot cheaper than I'm sure Apple would have ever sold a 70 inch for. Plus I say, "Hey Siri, turn off basement TV."
And Siri will respond with, "The Impractically Large TV is now off."

Don't think I ever had a TV with CEC that ever worked for the off side. Turning things on always work for turning on the TV, but never off.
