Apple's 'The Human Family' Ad for Rio Olympics Features Maya Angelou

by

Apple today launched a new ad in its ongoing "Shot on iPhone" campaign, this one called "The Human Family." Using words from famous poet Maya Angelou, and spoken by her too, the commercial cycles through various photos and videos of user-submitted content, with the theme of family showcasing various people from around the world.

The spot is set to be Apple's ad for the 2016 Olympic Games, expected to run sometime Friday night during the opening ceremonies in Rio. The ad has also taken over Apple's home page.

The new ad follows a collection of commercials shared by Apple back in July that were all a part of the "Shot on iPhone" roster of advertisements. Apple is in a revamp period with its photography-focused campaign, which was updated in June with advertising imagery and billboards focusing on bright colors.

Multicultural, progressive, politically correct propaganda. They really had to hold their nose to include any whites in that ad, and 2 of 3 were hidden in shadow. The brainwashing continues. The sheep bray to divveeeerrrsity.
The ad is called "Human Family". It's a pretty accurate depiction of all ethnicities relative to their numbers. The human family is diverse. And there's nothing you can do about it, fortunately.

I liked it.

Great ad! I have really been enjoying the simplicity and the fact that most of the content isn't generated by Apple but supplied to Apple by Apple products and customers.

Don't like it. Can't stand the voice. If this popped up on my TV the "mute" button would be pressed almost immediately.
