Several readers who ordered the new Airport Extreme Base Station (802.11n) received emails today that the 802.11n-enabled AirPort is now shipping -- two weeks earlier than expected.
The new version of the AirPort Extreme was released during Macworld San Francisco 2007 and integrates 802.11n wireless networking which claims to be 5x the performance of previous models.
Meanwhile, we've received reliable reports that the Apple TV will become available at retail stores on February 20th, 2007, with pre-order shipments near that date. Apple released the Apple TV at Macworld and had announced a February ship date.
Apple today seeded the fourth beta of tvOS 27 to developers for testing purposes, with the update coming two weeks after Apple released the third beta.
The beta can be downloaded and installed through the Settings app on the Apple TV. A free developer account is required.

Apple today provided developers with the release candidate versions of upcoming watchOS 26.6, tvOS 26.6, and visionOS 26.6 betas for testing purposes. The software comes a week after Apple seeded the fifth betas. The RCs are the final version of the software that will be released to the public as long as no bugs are found during this final testing period.
