Apple in iOS 16 introduced the ability to keep a log of vitamins and prescription medications you take to the Health app, which can remind you when doses are due. This article shows how you can export your medications list as a PDF document for sharing.

iOS 16 Health Guide Feature
In iOS 16, Apple added a new medication management feature to the Health app that helps you keep track of your medications and reminds you to take the right dosages at the correct time of day.

You can track your medications over time using the Health app and see the data organized by day, week, month, six months, and year. You can also see how often you've taken a medication over the past 28 days.

Another handy feature is the ability to export your medications list in a PDF document, which you can then easily share with your doctor. Here's how it's done.

  1. Open the Health app on your iPhone.
  2. Select the Browse section, and then select Medications or type "Medications" into the Health app search bar and select it from the results.
  3. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the Medications page.
  4. Tap Export PDF in blue.
  5. To share the displayed document via Messages or Mail, tap the Share icon (the box with arrow pointing out) in the top-right corner of the screen.
