.Mac and Apple ID Consolidation
MacNN reports that Apple will be consolidating Apple IDs and .Mac accounts to provide a unified Web login database.
1-Click information will be drawn from the .Mac user database but can be changed at anytime.
The change will take place on April 10, 2003.
This comes in anticipation and rumors of further 1-Click purchase usage by Apple for their rumored Music Download service as well as rumors (LoopRumors) of further 1-Click integration with Panther.
