How to Reset Beats Pill (2024)

Apple's latest Beats-branded Beats Pill Bluetooth speaker has a useful reset function that returns the speaker to its factory settings. It can come in handy if you're having sound, Bluetooth, or charging issues with your speakers, or any other problem with them.

How to Reset Beats Pill

  • To reset your Beats Pill and keep your settings: Press and hold the system button for at least 10 seconds.
  • To remove all paired devices, remove the custom name, and reset your Beats Pill to its factory settings: Press and hold the system button and the volume down button for at least 15 seconds.

Still having issues with your Beats Pill? Try using another power source or a different cable. If you're having Bluetooth issues, disconnect your speaker.

On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings ➝ Bluetooth, tap the Info button next to the name of your Beats product, then tap Forget This Device. On Mac, click the Apple () in the menu bar, choose System Settings, click Bluetooth, select your Beats Pill, click the X, then choose Forget Device. Finally, pair your Beats speaker again.
