Now just release a decent monitor that doesn't cost more than an iMac.

Lol… why is this even a thing? I mean, are they planning on releasing new built-in features, or what?

I don’t have one, but if I did, these iOS numbered updates for a display would drive me nuts. If it was a couple of possible firmware updates here and there, like normal monitors, it wouldn’t be so odd.

Edit: Or, enable it as an Apple TV running tvOS.

Why is beta software for a display even a thing? Not even any info on what’s new or changed….

I do wish they would enable Apple TV like experience for the Studio Display and enable pairing with an Apple Remote, it would just be a nice little Netflix/Streaming device without having to turn on a computer. Or even a dedicated Zoom/Facetime device.

It is essentially a computer already so you might as well enjoy all the benefits.
