Why does Memorial Day have any influence on the price of anything?
People died so you can consume man.........

All of your Star Wars dolls, legos, and funko pops would be speaking in German if people didn’t die freeing the freedom of people.

sarcasm off. Who knows. It’s an excuse to promote and save for people with 24 hours worth of additional leisure. You should see what these marketing folks have done to corrupt the meaning of a few religious holidays to move the focus into an orgy of toy or candy consumption,

Oh yeah, that's right...nobody cares what this forum thinks. ;)

Why does Memorial Day have any influence on the price of anything?
Because it’s a national holiday, and almost everyone has the day off. Normally national federal holidays (which are rare in the USA compared to other countries) are met with sales, to capitalize on peoples’ excitement at their free time.

It’s just capitalism. Isn’t that obvious by now?
