MacRumors Giveaway: Win a Leather Folio for the iPad From Woolnut

For this week's giveaway, we've teamed up with Woolnut to offer MacRumors readers a chance to win a Leather Folio for Apple's iPads. Woolnut makes a range of high-quality sleeve options available in sizes to fit Apple's modern iPads.

Priced at around $160 (135 euros), the Leather Folio for iPad Pro and Air is sized to fit the fourth-generation iPad Air and the first and second-generation 11-inch iPad Pro models, while the Leather Folio for iPad Pro (available for $173) is compatible with the third and fourth-generation 12.9-inch ‌iPad Pro‌ models.

Because the upcoming 2021 ‌iPad Pro‌ models that are rumored to be coming soon will feature the same 11 and 12.9-inch sizes, Woolnut's existing folios should be compatible with the new models.

Made from soft, full-grain Scandinavian leather, the Leather Folios are lined with 100 percent natural wool felt sourced from Germany. The wool has water-repellent and shock absorbing properties to keep the iPad inside safe.

Each folio is sized to fit the ‌iPad‌ and accessories that include the Magic Keyboard and the Apple Pencil, with a dedicated holder for the Pencil.

The Leather Folios come in three colors that include Black, Cognac, and Green, and each zips down the side with a high-end YKK Excella zipper sourced from Japan. Over time, the leather of the Folio will develop a unique patina for a custom look for each user.

We have four Leather Folios from Woolnut to give to MacRumors readers, with each winner able to choose their preferred folio. I know this is a free giveaway, but you've gotta be nuts to pay $160 for a zippered pouch for an iPad.

Last year I won MacRumors' giveaway of a Woolnut leather folio for the MacBook Pro/Air. I use it all the time - it's very well made and extremely protective of my laptop. I expect the quality of this folio is also top-notch.

I have one of these in green for my iPP 11” and they are really nice. Plentiful room for both the iPad and Magic Keyboard with Pencil attached and beautifully made.

Woolnut stuff is amazing. Had three different cases for my 11 Pro Max that I didn’t like, then got the Woolnut case and love it. Same is true for my green leather case for my 16” MacBook Pro. It is a different league of craftsmanship (and materials...go Swedish sheep go!) than what you would normally find in this kind of product...and yeah...it’s pricey. Disclaimer: I’m Swedish so I would have a bias for Nordic things.

Yeah, that thing looks like it costs maybe $5 to manufacture in China.
