Apple Event Hashtag on Twitter Gets Another Custom Apple Logo

The #AppleEvent hashtag on Twitter has today been customized to include an Apple logo reflecting the orange and blue hues of Apple's "Hi, Speed" event invites.

According to Jane Manchun Wong's Hashflag Browser, the new Apple logo was added to the hashtag yesterday and will be active through to the day of the event itself on Tuesday, October 13.

Ahead of Apple's "Time Flies" event last month, Apple customized the #AppleEvent Twitter hashtag before announcing the event, thereby revealing that the release of invitations was imminent. This time, Apple seems to have been conscious to not add the hashtag logo until after invites were sent.

Apple's "Hi, Speed" event is set to take place on Tuesday, October 13. Since the new ‌iPad‌ Air, eighth-generation ‌‌iPad‌‌, and Apple Watch Series 6 were already announced last month, the October event is expected to be iPhone-centric with Apple introducing the new iPhone 12 lineup.

I don’t need more speed on my phone. If there isn’t a compelling new functionality, speed alone won’t entice me to upgrade.

Did anyone tried on the Apple Event website to click the orange/blu logo ('https://www.apple.com/apple-events/') using iPad or iPhone ? It's sooo cool because it's tridimensional
and projects the logo in your room ? using AR
Thanks for the tip. Several posters previously had mentioned the AR but not where they found it.

Like so many Apple events some expectations may be overly high, defying where the technology is at, or on a different path than Apple is going. I hope to see the Apple tile, maybe a new/smaller/cheaper HomePod because that is the one Apple device I am not convinced by yet and I would like to check it out, and seeing where phones are going is always interesting. I am the kind of person that keeps a phone for several years and my iPhone X, which replaced my iPhone 5s, is likely to keep me going another year. I feel that the ARM based Mac intro will get its own event.
