Won't be long til we see it hit the $99 price point. Might consider one then. For now my Samsung Galaxy Fit does the job and even after a year the battery lasts several days between charge.

I would say it’s a great deal, my series 3 is the most reliable piece of tech I’ve owned and it’s so useful to have a calculator, messages, timer etc all on the wrist especially if your phone is not allowed in the workplace. This model runs plenty fast too.

I wonder how it will function out of support though in a year or two. Do newer versions of iOS require newer versions of watchOS?
