Growing threads in our forums and the
Apple Discussion Forums are pointing to what may be an issue with the plastic casing of some iPhone 3Gs.
The majority of the reports revolve around the white 16 GB model; however, a few users of the black model have reported cracks in their casings as well. See the gallery below for a sample of images from our forum:
