Apple Airs 'If You Don't Have an iPhone' TV Ads

Apple has posted three new iPhone ads to their website and YouTube channel. The new ads start off with the phrase "If you don't have an iPhone" and demonstrate some specific features found on the iPhone. The three ads include:

- App Store (embedded above)
- iPod + iTunes
- iBooks

Each ad ends with "Yup, if you don't have an iPhone, well, you don't have an iPhone." The new ads seem to be trying to point out differences between the iPhone and other platforms, the biggest if which is Google's Android.

This one has an air of pretentiousness to it. I feel mixed about this one.

I dont like ads like this. Similar to 'Mac vs PC' adverts.

Although Microsoft with their WP7 Ads are doing similar things to this..

Do not think that is very true. ;)

Do not really like the ads

for "Yup, if you don't have an iPhone, well, you don't have an iPhone." i am sure the person watching the ad with out an iPhone knows that so i sounds very stupid to say it.

As if someone would come up to me and say you don't have an iphone i would say i think i know that -.-

I usually love Apple ads but these made me cringe. The tone is just so smug - I think it leaves the viewer with a similar feeling to those funny but pretty snide Microsoft ads that ended with someone distastefully proclaiming, "really?" Bad brand move in my opinion. Looking forward to hearing what others think.
