(View all)Anyway I'm afraid to install the trial for fear of the Adobe installer (which is supposedly missing....).
For those who don't know the Adobe CS4 trial hijacked your system and wouldn't let you open your legal bought and paid for CS3 until you had a CS4 license. And good luck reinstalling CS3 because even using app cleaner programs, you couldn't reinstall CS3 once the CS4 trial was on the machine because halfway through the CS3 install it asked for the CS4 disks!
Luckily my machine was backed up on time machine and I was able to recover my CS3 by simply copying the folder back in but my coworkers were not so lucky and had to reimage the machine.
Adobe had no solution to this either but instead recommended to upgrade to the "great new features" of CS4....
If someone can confirm that the crappy installer is gone I may try this...

Stop trolling.
I'm curious to see how CS5 performs and how it functions seeing as Adobe redid them in Cocoa. I'm not expecting a whole lot, but hopefully, I'll be pleasantly surprised.
And for those wondering about Fireworks, rumour is they did nothing to it. Just took CS4, with all those bugs, and bundled it with the CS5 suite... so don't hold your breaths ;)

Either that, or it was posted to once again let people post "fanboy" in hopes that it would be considered clever this time.
I am interested to try out PS.
