iPhone SDK Delayed 1-3 Weeks?
In a brief blog post, BusinessWeek writer Arik Hesseldahl reports that the iPhone SDK may be delayed by 1-3 weeks. No reasons for the delay are known, and Apple's plans with respect to the announced late February timeframe remain murky:
However Im also hearing that the situation is fluid, and a lot of last-minute decisions are close to being made about what precisely will or will not be disclosed next week, if anything. There are, apparently, a lot of moving parts to something this complex.
Of note, Hesseldahl contributed to an October 2007 BusinessWeek report published one day before Steve Jobs made the official announcement regarding Apple's plans to release an SDK.Top Rated Comments

BusinessWeek: iPhone SDK to arrive late

In a recent BusinessWeek blog post, writer Arik Hesseldahl says he has information from one of his sources that the long awaited iPhone SDK might well be delayed. According to the source, the delay could be anywhere from one to three weeks; with February drawing to a close and no announcement yet of an Apple event, this could very well be true.
The post goes on to say that last minute preparations are being made, and that the SDK release is a complex process (which tracks with our reporting as well). BusinessWeek has generally been respectable when it comes to sussing out Apple rumors (they did, in fact, break the rumor about the iPhone SDK a day before Steve Jobs announced it back in October). However, like with most rumors, there are always a wide variety of opinions.

You guys can't believe this just because one person said it. Lets just hope that this information is false and that the SDK is released next week.

If this is true I'm seriously wondering why Apple can't seem to get anything out on time anymore (Leopard, Apple TV Update, SDK, more to come!).

I'd rather have a fully working non-buggy SDK than an unfinished one, but still.... :(
