Apple has already enabled its "Get Ready" feature, several days before pre-orders go live. This allows you to prepare your purchase by selecting your preferred iPhone 17 Pro model, confirming carrier status, adding accessories, choosing an AppleCare+ plan, and setting up payment methods. When pre-orders begin, you'll be able to complete your purchase with just a tap.

If you're an iPhone Upgrade Program member, you'll be able to complete pre-approval steps including checking upgrade eligibility, securing credit lines, and confirming shipping details ahead of launch day.

iPhone 17 Pro Release Date

The iPhone 17 Pro will become available Friday, September 19, exactly one week after pre-orders are expected to begin. This is when both deliveries to customers and in-store availability will commence.

Don't want to wait for shipping? Apple Store locations will offer same-day or next-day pickup options starting September 19. To secure pickup when launch day arrives, add the iPhone 17 Pro to your bag on Apple.com or the Apple Store app, select "I'll pick it up" at checkout, choose your local store, and select a 15-minute pickup window.

Walk-in purchases will also be possible at Apple Store locations with sufficient inventory, though availability can't be guaranteed. Walk-in customers may face longer wait times compared to those with pickup reservations.
