Apple Preps Two 'Imminent' Product Upgrades
Apple is preparing to refresh both its Vision Pro headset and iPad Pro lineup in the near future, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman.

Writing in his latest Power On newsletter, Gurman says the Vision Pro update will bring a faster processor – likely the M5 chip – along with a redesigned strap system aimed at making the headset more comfortable during extended wear.
Meanwhile, the M5 iPad Pro is going to be a more modest upgrade. A likely-legitimate leak out of Russia suggests the refresh is mainly about the processor bump from M4 to M5. The new model was also expected to include a second front-facing camera that would allow video calls to be viewed in both portrait and landscape orientation, but that seems less certain given that one wasn't spotted in the leaked video.
Given that Gurman calls the upgrades "imminent," both products are likely to arrive within weeks rather than months. Indeed, the leaked iPad Pro unboxing video on a Russian YouTube channel suggests that M5 iPad Pros have already started appearing in European warehouses – and Apple typically fills its distribution channels ahead of launches.
New Apple product launches often happen in late October, but there's nothing to rule out Apple surprising us with an earlier announcement. Watch this space.
