only update samsung need to be worthwhile is drop the smart and make it 5k, the rest is pointless marketing. It's a shame as a 32" from Apple at a reasonable price doesn't seem likely soon, they are missing an opportunity

these are always a mistake in my experience. but at least they have one under 400$ now, realizing they don't sell at twice the price of better working displays.

Ugh. Yea, but wasn't there supposed to be a 32" one? Maybe it wasn't from Samsung...
Those are Retina 6K ('https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/the-complete-list-of-6k-32-monitors.2459226/') (and not Samsung), not 5K, although Acer has a 32" 5K 165Hz ('https://tftcentral.co.uk/news/acer-predator-xb323qx-unveiled-with-a-5k-ips-panel-dual-mode-and-g-sync-pulsar') gaming unit on the way, supposedly due Q4 this year.

However, Samsung does have a 27" QD-OLED 5K 120Hz prototype they’ve been showing behind closed doors.
