I'm tempered; I have had my eye on one of these, but can anyone with one these comment on the strange scrolling effect some people complain about. It's the one thing keeping from buying.
All you need to do is go to a Apple store and look at multiple web page in portrait orientation and scroll up and down and see if you see one side of the scrolling lag slightly compared to the other side. These are 60 hz panels. In landscape you will see no issue. Some people are sensitive to flickering, jelly motion, and it gives them headaches. I don’t have that issue and neither does most people. If with looking at them in the store and you don’t notice this effect to any degree your fine. Don’t worry about it. I bought one because it is a great media player for the money.

I have a 256gb cellular model. I can see the jelly scrolling if i really look closely, but I never notice it during normal usage. However some people are more sensative to it. Go to a local BB and play with a demo unit. Personally I love my mini 6, but it all depends on what you need an iPad to do.

It's always funny to me how MacRumors completely ignores Walmart in these iPad deals. Walmart's normal price for the Mini 6 64 GB is and has been $459 for a very long time. You do this with the iPad Pro and iPad Air as well, often claiming "lowest price ever" from Amazon while completely disregarding Walmart's normal, everyday discount on these devices.
