Do you know of any brand that does charge while mounted for the car? Obviously it’s a big deal and I’d love to get my hands on one, regardless of brand.

That would be really handy for rental car situations!

Just wish it could magically be less bulky in the carry-on.
I don’t think it’s very bulky. The rear “arm” is detachable, so it doesn’t take much space if you take it apart.

Anyone know how well any of these magnetic car mounts will do considering the added weight of the new iPhone 13 Pro Max over the 12 Pro Max? The new one weighs .43 ounces more – makes me wonder if the phone will bounce off more easily on bumpy roads.
I’ll let you know friday :-)

Thanks for the report. That's great to know!
Day 3, and still holding strong. Funny thing is, after all these years, I keep forgetting to use it when I get in the car. I plug my phone into the lightning cable in the cup holder every time and have to catch myself.

How’d the test go?
I drove around a bunch yesterday and today, like a maniac, and the 13 pro max stuck really well to the Belkin vent mount. I like it.
