Seems like these sales are more regular and outside special holidays.

I wonder what this is telling us about the sales numbers.

Refresh coming soon for Intel iMac? M1 Macbook Pro new model, or just trying to clear extra inventory?
My guess is balance inventory between MBA and MBP. MBP is essentially a MBA with a fan and touchbar for $300.

Been trying to hold off upgrading my parents 2011 21.5" iMac until the Apple Silicon version is released. I mentioned in other threads that for most uses what they have is fine, however some software is now not supported on the highest OS version that can be upgraded to. For example TurboTax 2020.

That 21.5" iMac deal though is pretty tempting. Costco also has it for $100 more, however they double the warranty and then my CC doubles that taking it to 4 years for "free".

Sales like this have been happening for years. I wouldn't try and read too much into this.

QoQ or YoY?

M1 is great. But M1 MBP not that much Pro. 21.5” iMac hasn’t been updated in a long time. I don’t have to make a case for why these specific models are on sale.
