Likewise, the 512GB MacBook Air has an automatic coupon on Amazon this week. It's priced at $1,149.99, down from $1,299.00, following a $99.01 coupon at checkout (or $49.01, depending on the color you choose). That's a loaded question... if you're talking about raw specs for the price, they're most certainly not worth the price compared to some other Windows PCs that aren't as slim, especially if you need more than base specs.

The 1.1GHz Core i5 in the MacBook Air is still beat by a used Core i7 MacBook Pro from 2013, and you can still upgrade the SSD in that model.

The only thing is Apple will likely drop support for macOS after big sur to make people buy a new mac.
