Apple Card Assistance Program Will Allow Customers to Skip March Payment Without Interest Due to Coronavirus

Apple Card holders today received an email informing them that should they need financial assistance due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, they can enroll in a new customer assistance program that will allow them to skip their March payment without incurring interest charges for that billing cycle.

To initiate the process, send the following message to Apple Card support via iMessage: "I would like to enroll in the Customer Assistance Program."

The email was shared by Reddit user exjr_:

apple card covid 19This is one of many measures that Apple is taking in response to the pandemic, along with announcing that WWDC 2020 will be an online event, temporarily closing all Apple Stores outside of China, committing $15 million to date for COVID-19 relief efforts, encouraging corporate employees to work remotely if their job allows, and more.

I see the unprofessional reporting skills continue across ALL media. You do realise it’s actually called ‘Covid 19’ right? To call it the Coronavirus is the same as to call it the ‘Human Being’... the word cornovirus means a group of a certain type of virus that includes the flue, SARS, Mers, the common cold etc.. so in effect your calling the current pandemic a group of several viruses:

To call reporters “unprofessional” because of their use of a generally accepted term is a little overblown. As pointed out above, folks understand the meaning without much thought.

Not like they call the “flu” a duct of some sort, you know.
Yeah, I specify COVID-19 in the story. I would like to think that everyone knows which coronavirus we are referring to right now.
