I’m sorry, I love Apple but when i see ads like this with tag lines like, “Theres a BETTER you in you!” I have to laugh. It reminds me of the alien invasion film THEY LIVE. Put on your magic sunglasses and suddenly all the ads & signs turn into one word subliminal messages like OBEY! & CONSUME! Lol.

Maybe I’m not the target audience, but I don’t need a watch to tell me to get moving. I just find the whole thing bizarre.
Most adults these days DO need to be reminded to get moving. Hell, they need to be reminded to stand up at all. That’s why we are all so fat and weak.

I think they understand that this year's AW is the one to push hard with. It has a really BROAD appeal and there are many customers who are happy with their phone, but not their watch (or they don't have one). It is a growth market for them.

I like it.

It's a real ad, not some nonsensical nonsense like most of the recent apple ads.

Honestly, a solid ad. It doesn't DIRECTLY say much, but it SHOWS a lot--which sells. It makes me want to upgrade my Apple Watch Series 2, even though mine does everything shown here. Thankfully my willpower to keep my wallet closed is able to resist their marketing. ;) iPhone XR: not so sure my wallet can stay closed on that one. May be time to upgrade my 6s.

Good work, Apple.

I heavily credit Apple Watch in my weight loss. I've lost over 220 pounds so far, and the combination of Apps on my iPhone and Apple Watch helping keep me motivated have done a lot.

I'm glad you're so self-motivated. Some of us need help, and tools like these matter greatly.
