What Happens When 2 Siris Talk to One Another [Fake]

Well, it had to be done. Two Siris talking to each other.

But even at this early stage of Siri's development, all it takes is for someone to leave 2 Siris lying around and accidentally activate them and press their buttons at the right time in order to let them speak to each other.. and the consequences can be dire.

The outcome could get someone fired. The actual back and forth starts about 23 seconds into the video.

Update: Based on the antenna bands these are not 4S units. So, seems like it may have been staged/fake?

Silly, staged prank.

If we scrape the barrel with this Siri stuff much more we'll hit concrete!

Hah, I hope that's fake; otherwise it highlights how random Siri's responses are.

It reminds me of the time I noticed my Mac's screen would wake from sleep randomly and seem to start doing things. I eventually realised the problem was the Mac's speech recognition was replying to the TV. If someone on TV said "We don't have time..." the Mac would respond "It's 9:15".

I expect MacRumors to at least think and evaluate before posting something like this.

Which begs the question, why did MacRumors even post this.

I half expected this to be a post by Jordan, but was shocked to see it was Arn. I appreciate that Siri is the talk of the town at the moment, but I expect MacRumors to at least think and evaluate before posting something like this.

I agree. MacRumors really need to think about what they are report on. A lot of their articles these days are far from professional.

Less about page views and more about quality of articles I think.

Seriously if you can't tell that from the difference in tone, it's a sample of recordings they've found and pieced together to make this...
