Sunday May 7, 2000 3:19 am PDT by
MacCentral has an news story which reports that Quake III Team Arena may have Mac OS X support. "The mission pack CD will actually have builds for Mac, Linux and Win32. We'll see if we can stick some OS/X action in there as well." Not a very strong statement. :) The next question is when everyone will be able to start using Mac OS X. WWDC is in one week, so we should hear some OS ...

skiman writes "I was on the phone with an old friend of mine who works at Apple in California. While I was on the phone with him, he was interupted by a collegue and I was asked to wait. Instead of putting me on hold, the phone was simply left on his desk and I overheard the conversation. I was floored when I heard they were talking about the new PDA - which WILL be released in NYC. They were...

Game Developers Laying the Smacketh Down?

Thursday May 4, 2000 4:34 pm PDT by
MacMike writes "I'm sure you've all seen the story about Apple working out a program for Mac Game developers to help them advertise on WWF Smackdown We'll never know the details but I'm going to say right now that this program will be a dud. Why? I've spoken with various Mac game developers and they are *pissed* about a couple of things. There is still a lot of lingering animosity...

Domain names are still very important. What's a...

With a very simple photography trick (or some quick work in Photoshop), he says just about anyone can come up with Apple's next...
