Windows 2000 on your Mac without Emulation - Future of NetPC's?

MacWeek reports that Personable.com now supports Mac browsers.

Personable.com is an interesting site which lets users run a virtual Windows 2000 session through their browser. To use Microsoft Office apps, you need to pay a monthly fee, but you can test it and run some apps with a free account. Despite the warnings on the website that you need a PC, Mac IE 5.0 did work.

Sites like this fuzz the line between Computer and Net PC. What if you made a Web TV device which could use this site? Full Windows 2000 on a WebTV interface? Sounds like a Net PC to me.

For an alternative site with a custom OS, see MyWebOS.com - DHTML heavy, and requires Windows IE 5.0. But an interesting sign of the future.
