TBH, the best place to buy AirPods Pro is Costco. If they break, their return policy is the best. No questions asked, no end date, anytime. I put a set through the washing machine and just returned them and got a new pair. Or in a few years a new version comes out, just return it.
Abusing return policies like this is how they get ruined.
