Too bad it comes with Catalina pre-installed. (Some of us have jobs and projects that require software that Catalina makes obsolete for no other reason than Apple Doesn't Care.)

For years I’ve been holding out buying a new MacBook because of the keyboard issues, now I’m holding out for the new chips. Guess I should be happy I’ve still got a working laptop and money in my pocket.

Hm, that's exactly the configuration I want. But the price for the 512GB model shows $1799 on B&H's web page. Anyone see the discount?

I expect more and larger discounts on Intel-based Macs. Everyone buying an Intel Mac knows they are buying a dead-end product.
Or they want the last real Macs before they turn into iOS toys. :p

I love B&H.

Bought my 16 incher there. Was $3299, and over the next few weeks it was discounted 3 times to $2999. They have a 30 day price match. They credited my card all 3 price drops. Great service and people.

At any given moment they probably have several hundred models and versions available to ship overnight.
