German site iFun.de reports [Google translation] that has it has received information from a source "to be taken seriously" claiming that the iPad 3 will debut there on Friday, March 23.

Has there ever been an iPhone/iPad launch on a Thursday? It'd be really unusual for them to launch on that day over Friday.

Shame the Apple Store in Berlin's not open yet, or I'd buy mine there... :(

I dont get what the point is in standing in a line for it when you can just order it online and have it delivered on the day it comes out :confused:
